M. Jaysson Eicholtz – FDA Advisory Committee
Jaysson graduated with a Degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland at College Park and has a Masters in Biotechnology from the University of Maryland, University College. 20 years of experience in operations and production management roles in FDA regulated industry including vaccines, immunotherapy, and gene therapy. Helped direct and expand the production facility at Nationwide Children’s Hospital supporting gene therapy productions for multiple phase 1/2a trials. Currently is a member for the FDA Medical Devices Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Advisory Committee and is the Vice President of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls for Scout Bio. Jaysson lives with his wife and four sons in Columbus, Ohio and is dedicated to driving down costs and barriers in gene therapy manufacturing to support research and trials for all disease indications.
Onno Faber – NF2 Patient -Serial Entrepreneur – RDMD
Onno has been building things and solving problems for as long as he can remember. He is a serial entrepreneur, he started his first [internet] company in 1998. He studied architecture and got his degree in 2006. He is still starting things, solving problems, and developing new concepts and products. Most recently, he founded RDMD, helping rare disease patients and foundations to accelerate treatments. Born in the Netherlands, Onno was diagnosed with NF2 in 2015 at the age of 36. He currently lives in San Francisco.
Jonathan Gooch – NF2 Dad – Global Regulatory Affairs professional- BlueReg Pharma Consulting
Jonathan is the loving father of A. Gooch (18 years old) who was diagnosed in early 2019 with NF2. Jonathan has elected to lever his background, with a high sense of urgency, to find a treatment for his son and others effected with NF2.
Jonathan is an accomplished Global Regulatory Affairs professional with a background developed in a career spanning over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of companies and settings. Jonathan has experience of small molecules and biologics in multiple therapeutic areas.
Most recently, Jonathan is a Director at BlueReg Pharma Consulting. BlueReg is a dynamic and rapidly growing Pharmaceutical/ Bio-pharmaceutical outsourcing and consulting services company with seasoned expertise in all aspects of Drug Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Publishing and Pharmacovigilance. Jonathan has managed his own business (Molecule2marketplace) for over twelve years as a freelance consultant. Working on behalf of major blue-chip clients he was responsible for many projects and development activity as Global Regulatory Lead resulting in major global submissions in oncology and rare diseases, combination products, and involvement in strategic commercial activity. Jonathan has managed projects within business development, in-licensing, divestiture, and discontinuation working with external third-party parties.
Prior to that, Jonathan was Associate Director in pain and inflammation therapeutic area at Pfizer and earlier held multiple roles of increased responsibility in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) culminating in Senior Consultant.
Marc Hixson – Principal, Coeus Consulting Group
Marc enjoys providing strategic insight and guidance to entrepreneurs and start-ups discovering lifesaving therapeutics to help bring their products to market. Marc received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his MBA in Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management from Penn State University. In 2009 he founded the Coeus Consulting Group, a boutique life science strategy consulting firm supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and payors in the U.S. The company creates tailored, evidence-based solutions that drive business strategy and impacts bottom lines with a focus on phase II clinical trials through commercialization. When he’s not working with clients and patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Devon, PA.
Lindsay Kantor – NF2 Patient – Partner, Torkin Manes LLP
Lindsay is a lawyer and partner at Torkin Manes LLP in Toronto, Canada. Lindsay received her undergraduate degree from McGill University, and her law degree from the University of Toronto. Having practiced mainly health law for almost 10 years, Lindsay has a keen interest in issues affecting the health care sector. However, what has drawn Lindsay to support NF2 BioSolutions is her personal experience with NF2. Lindsay is an NF2 patient herself, as are several other members of her family.
Lindsay believes strongly that connection and community are integral to human happiness and fulfilment. As she moves forward on her NF2 journey, she is committed to ensuring that she and other NF2 patients feel understood and connected to those around them.
Dierdre Konar – Director, Advancement Systems, Swarthmore College
From a young age, Dierdre Konar knew that she wanted to effect change in order to make a positive difference in people’s lives. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Babson College, Dierdre has enjoyed 20 years of experience in non-profit management and professional fundraising. She holds a master’s degree in arts administration from Drexel University and spent the first half of her career at Musicopia, a non-profit music education organization in the Philadelphia region. Dierdre has the distinction of being Musicopia’s first full-time, paid employee, and the organization quintupled in size during her tenure. While serving in a variety of roles at Musicopia, including Managing Director, Dierdre oversaw program and community development, event management, individual giving and stewardship, grant writing and reporting, and technical administration.
Dierdre then moved to the Advancement office at Swarthmore College. She started at Swarthmore as a member of the leadership giving and gift planning team, where she helped more than 200 alumni and parent donors make an impact and effect positive change at the College. She is currently the Director of Advancement Systems at Swarthmore, where she solves problems and creates meaningful connections between students, alumni, parents, and colleagues both in Advancement and throughout the College. She continues to work with a number of thoughtful and compassionate donors.
In her free time, Dierdre enjoys laughing, reading, skiing, singing, and dancing with her two toddlers and her husband and high-school sweetheart. Dierdre is also an active volunteer in keeping her community safe, her children’s schools vibrant, and teaching religious education at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County.
Victoria West – Communications Director, Public Relations and Legal
Victoria is the mother of four young student athletes. Her youngest is a friend, teammate and classmate of AJ, a sweet 7 year old boy recently diagnosed with NF2. Inspired by AJ’s parents’ strength and forward momentum, she is determined to work for a happy ending for all families affected by NF2.
She is Directeur et Conseil en Propriété Intellectuelle at Keter SAS Paris, France. Previously, she worked in the law departments at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Warner Bros. Studios, Madison Media Group and IKON (now Ricoh Corporation). She is an Athletic Hall of Fame inductee and captained several soccer teams including the Hoya Lawyas while attending Georgetown University Law. Prior to law school she worked for the U.S. Congress as Press Secretary and Communications Director.
Victoria and her husband are active fundraisers and volunteers in their community and schools.
